


Falafel Seasoning
Simply add our spice blend to fava beans or chickpeas and follow our easy recipe to enjoy this famous vegetarian street food at home.
Makes 12 servings. 24 g (0.85 oz)
This product should be stored in a cool (<21 C or 70 F), dry (<60% RH) area to provide maximum shelf life without loss of taste or functional characteristics.

All you need:
- ½ sachet (12 g) falafel seasoning (included)
- 1 ½ cans (about 25 oz) chickpeas, drained and dried
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 25 g (1 cup) fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 eggs (or ½ cup silken tofu)
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice
- 15 g (1 tbsp) baking powder
- 185 g (1 ½ cups) breadcrumbs
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
All we do:
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion and parsley. Blend until smooth. In a bowl, combine eggs, falafel seasoning, baking powder and lemon juice. Add chickpea mixture to bowl and mix. Slowly add breadcrumbs and mix with your hands until you can form small patties that hold together. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry patties for about 3 to 4 minutes per side or until golden brown. Enjoy with our Roasted Garlic Dip, salad and roasted potatoes with our Greek Potato or Spicy Potato Seasoning.
* You can also bake them in the oven at 400˚F (205˚C) for 20 to 25 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
